you for a while

Well…everyone. I did it! Dissertation is defended, man It was a long hour and a half full of difficult, but interesting questions and at the end of it all I passed. So, with the exception of a year-long internship, I’ve met all my my academic requirements for my good ol’ playa hatin’ degree. Woohoo!

And I have you guys who wrote in so kindly in response to my last post and, of course Tori Amos, to thank for my success. My Dissertation Inspiration CD was of critical importance in maintaining my confidence as were your kind words. I suggest anyone in a similar situation burn themselves a copy today (complete with the additions supplied in the comments, of course!…we’ll call those Dissertation Inspiration Bee-Sides).

So, again I ask you. What would any Ears with Feet do to celebrate such an accomplishment? Why, make a Tori-Amos-Dance-of-Joy CD of course! Ha ha. Here is my preliminary list…feel free to add to it in comments! I love reading them…especially because I’m not big on the boot scene and would love to know where to start hunting.
