you for a while

Okay, so I just bought my tickets for the Tori show in my hometown!. Absolutely nothing makes me happier than not having to travel to see Tori Amos…its a so much more relaxing, natural (and cheaper!) experience.

And the theater where she is to play is amazingly beautiful. Its a small venue, so there is no such thing as a “bad seat” (although when I saw the White Stripes there and sat in the balcony…all I heard was Meg White’s drum beat and guitar feedback). I’ve seen Tori at here twice before and I am hopeful that this show will be as moving as those.

My husband, our friend Ginger, and I will be sitting (or, I guess I should say dancing…but I won’t sing, loud at least, I swear. The people in the row in front of us will thank me for that) in row EE. Which, by my count, is row 31?

Anyway, I try to keep this blog as focused on Tori as possible, but I wanted to vent my excitement. I was afraid she wouldn’t swing by here on this tour and was making plans to take time off of work to travel…but I won’t have to do that now, will I?!
