I took a break but now I’m back on a Tori Amos song interp kick. Just finished Iieee…how do you spell that anyway? Too lazy to go get my CD.

Happy reading, and while you are at it, go on an Iiieee kick on youtube. Storytellers is my fave while Sessions at West 54th is a close runner up.

Without listening to the lyrics, Iiee is a cool tune…the instrumentation, her voice, the piano/keyboard mix. However, the lyrics add a whole other element…so sad, so powerful, so angry, and so utterly Tori. While fans are free to interpret Iieee from their own place of despair, it is obvious where Tori’s anger is coming from………
