I’m slowly but surely trekking through the From The Choirgirl Hotel album. Almost done now that I’ve completed everything up through She’s Your Cocaine.

There is a good Tori quote here, as well as some more debate amongst fans whether or not Tori wishes an untimely death upon Courtney Love for “stealing” Trent Reznor from her. Hey, I have no stance on the issue…I’m just the messenger! Whoever She’s Your Cocaine is directed to, God bless your soul. Sounds like you passed up Tori for someone who manipulated you to the point of nearly chopping off your own…well, I’ll spare you the mental image.

I’ll take the opportunity to disclaim a little more about these song interp pages. These summaries merely represent a starting point for fans looking for direction when it comes to understanding a Tori song. There are a gazillion and a half ways to interpret any one Tori Amos song and I by no means think I have the answer. I do conduct some amount of research…but there will always be holes. Which is why I leave comments open! Hopefully you guys can fill in any gaps in the interpretation, put a new spin on something, or share something personal (if you are comfortable) regarding what the song means to you. I love reading them, so do speak up!
