This is a quickie…still on the road (I’m in a really cool historic home turned hotel in Los Angeles right now!). But I was perusing da ‘bay just now and saw this gem. Some determined musician went around on got his/her drumhead signed by Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, Lisa Loeb, Sarah McLachlan, and Celine Dion. With the possible exception of Celine Dion (I’m a Celine hater), what a superior collection of sigs!!

It looks as though an autograph company is auctioning this, but the sigs look authentic. I know Tori’s better than my own and it sure looks real. This is an expensive item, and if it was just Tori’s signature I’d be like c’mon dude…$250? But these autographs represent so many of the female musical trend setters of our generation. It might be worth it. And, as always, it would make a great gift!

We’ll just have to speculate what Lilith-frowner-uponer Tori thinks about sharing siggy space with Sarah. Something tells me that despite their differing views on feminism, I’m sure they’d be friends.
