Tori Amos Ringtones: A Review
(Support this site by downloading a Tori Ringtone at Funtonia.com)
Perhaps one of the most popular ways to express your undying affection for Tori Amos is to have one of her tunes play at those most inappropriate times: in class, during a wedding (or a funeral!), or while in the movie theater. That’s right, sporting a Tori Amos ring tone screams “I just can’t get away from this amazing woman.” So, in addition to boasting that rare Y Kant Tori Read album or that Under the Pink tour t-shirt, having a perfect ringtone is a must-have in your Tori Amos collection.
Given that Tori Amos ringtones are so popular (they bring in the highest Google Adsense bids) and that there are an overwhelming number of websites out there on which to download Tori tones, I thought I’d review one of the more prolific Tori Amos Ringtone sites out there…it’ll save you some time Googling if nothing else.
My fave Tori Ringtone site: Funtonia.com. (MP3 Real Tones)
Song List: The song list is impressive: they have about 160 T ringtones. This site supports just about all of the standards (Winter, Sugar, Spark, Little Earthquakes, and Cornflake Girl) plus some cool rarities like Daisy Dead Petals, Over It, Home on the Range, and multiple dance mixes of God. All albums are represented (except for Y Kant Tori Read…and Tori Amos probably prefers it that way!).
Preview: The preview function is easy to use and is available for all songs. Tones appear play for about 15-20 seconds before looping and the most relevant parts of the song are sampled (i.e. the chorus). The previews are high quality as are the actual tones (I’ve only downloaded 6…but they’ve all been good).
Price: Two plans: 1.99 a month (for 12 months) for a year of unlimited downloading for up to 3 phones and 5.99 a month for 3 months of unlimited downloading for 1 phone. Not bad. I’d rather pay per song, but this its still worth it.
Phone Compatibility: Looks like most major providers are covered.
Website Design/User-Friendliness: Great design…I only had to do some poking and actually sign up in order to look the payment plans. Which was a bummer.
China2Ny’s Fave: Devils and Gods. Short songs make for great ringtones. You aren’t left wanting.
I was so impressed with this site, YouForAWhile.com became an affiliate. If that casts some doubt on the accuracy of this review…check them out for yourself! However, if you run across any problems with this site let me know and I’ll rethink this move.
